We’re a few days into June and I’m so excited about it! I think it’s going to be a great month, how about you?Did you have a nice holiday weekend? Let's catch up over coffee with the #ultimatecoffeedate… Click To Tweet
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that I spent Memorial Day weekend in Maine and had the most amazing time! I had no idea how beautiful it is there…wow. The trees, the water, the ships…just breathtaking! We stayed in a lovely 2 bedroom cottage and had amazing views of the water. We went hiking at our campsite and Acadia State Park, went sightseeing through various towns in Maine, and of course we had to get lobster! While I didn’t get to go on a run, the trails did provide a great workout!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… that the 1/2 Sauer 1/2 Kraut Half Marathon is today! By the time you read this, I’ll be either preparing for the race, running through Pennypack Park, or celebrating the finish! I’ll be posting updates on Instagram so do check it out! The race is hilly and we’ve had really hot weather lately, so I’m not expecting a PR but we’ll see how it goes! Hopefully, it’ll be a successful conclusion to spring racing!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…I really enjoyed hanging with City Fit Girls for Global Running Day and meeting some new ladies, like Mimi, Bridget, and Patty. Running with a group has so many benefits, and it especially helps when the weather is so miserably hot and humid! I have to do a better job of running with them at least once a month! Check out my Running Club Roundup with them to see why they are so great to run with!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that speaking of City Fit Girls, I’m signed up for their annual FitRetreat on August 20! Their 150 tickets sold out in just 2 days! It’s been great seeing City Fit Girls grow so much from year to year. A few of my favorite blogger ladies like Mar, Nicole, and Serena will be there too, so I really look forward to meeting them!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that I’m excited to move at the end of the month but now I’m realizing I need to pack! It’s time to make some lists, collect some boxes, and find a mover that won’t cost and arm and a leg. I’ve also got to figure out how to get my 2-piece sectional out of our apartment. I had to get it disassembled to get it in (which was NOT cheap), but I may be able to hoist it out through the back…I just need to make a decision soon! I’m hoping that by the next round of the Ultimate Coffee Date, we’ll be all moved in!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…I’ve been thinking about my birthday plans coming up this summer. I have no idea what I want to do to celebrate but since I’m turning 30, I want it to be special! I know that I want to have a custom-made cake, but other than that I have no clue what to do or where to go! Any creative birthday ideas you recommend?
What would you share with me over coffee? What are you looking forward to this summer?
