Love Run Half Marathon Recap

The Love Run Half Marathon was amazing beyond my wildest dreams.

Last Sunday I finally completed the Love Run, and while I didn’t PR, I came pretty darn close!  This wasn’t in the plan!

I’m happy to share my recap of the experience, and if you ever read my recaps, you know I give all the details.  I hope you enjoy!

Love Run Half Marathon Training Week 12 Recap

I had one heck of an active weekend…my body is ready for relaxation!

As you know, I’ve been training for the Love Run Half Marathon and the big race was on Sunday.  I’ll have a full recap posted this week so I hope you check it out!  I also participated in the Fight for Air Stair Climb on Saturday – 50 floors!  My quads need all the TLC they can get!

I’m joining Courtney of Eat Pray Run DC for her Winter Training Recap linkup and HoHo and Tricia for the Weekly Wrap!  These are great ways to keep accountable and share your workouts with fellow fit-minded individuals!

Goals for the Love Run Half Marathon

This Sunday, I’ll finally be running my first big race of the year – the Love Run Half Marathon!

I am very excited to see how this race goes but I’m definitely nervous!  One of my goals for 2017 is to run a sub-2:15 half marathon, and this will be my first test.  Coach Laura has given me a great plan these past several weeks, but now it’s time to execute.  I’ve got my fingers and my toes crossed that I’ll have my day.  Keep reading to check out my strategy for the Love Run!
