Do you wear sweat-wicking headbands while out on the run or working out?  They recently have become my go-to product for working out as they absorb sweat before it reaches my face, are light and comfortable, and even make a fashion statement!

That’s why  I was really excited to get the opportunity to try the UV Reflective Half BUFF®!  Keep reading to check out my review!

UV Reflective Half BUFF®

So what is a UV Reflective Half BUFF® anyway?

Shorter than the Original BUFF® , the UV Reflective Half BUFF® offers style, sun protection plus reflective strips for added visability. It wicks away perspiration to keep you comfortable in the gym, on the road, at the yoga studio, or on the trails. Cyclists especially love the way it sits comfortably under a helmet without bunching.

How do I look?

Wearing the UV Reflective Half BUFF®

Last year, I had the opportunity to test out and review the Merino Wool BUFF®  and loved it!  So I knew that the UV Reflective Half BUFF® would provide the similar benefits of comfort, practicality, and style.  I received the black half BUFF® but was pleased to see that they offer 4 additional color options:  Sport Blue, Yellow Fluor, Citron, and Waterfall.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve worn this headband on several of my runs and workouts and have easily become a fan!  A couple of weeks ago, I was on vacation in New Orleans and had the opportunity to wear the  UV Reflective Half BUFF® on a 4-mile and 10-mile run.  While the weather was beautiful on both days, on the long run, the weather was warm and VERY sunny, to the point that I got a tan in the process!  I’m a pretty sweaty runner in general, so I was drenched by the end of the 10 miles.  But surprisingly, I didn’t have a drop of sweat on my face thanks to the sweat-wicking power of the BUFF®!  Perfect!

The great thing about BUFF® gear is how versatile it is – you can wear it on your head, around your neck, or even around your wrist.   Unfortunately, I haven’t experimented with too many different ways of wearing the UV Reflective Half BUFF® so far, but I like wearing it best as a headband with my hair down while out on a run.

Worked great in yoga class too!

I’ve become a pretty big fan of the BUFF® brand and I’m glad to have this product in my headband collection!  It will definitely get a lot more action this spring on my outdoor runs.  I’d also like to try wearing this while cycling – as soon as I get a new bike!

While I personally don’t have to worry about this problem, the UV Reflective Half BUFF® would be great to use to protect yourself from sunburn!  And while black goes with everything, I’d personally prefer some of the more colorful options!  There is also the original UV Half BUFF® line that has all kinds of crazy patterns and designs!

Unfortunately, Mother Nature is currently banishing me from running outdoors thanks to Winter Storm Stella!  In the meantime, I’ll wear the UV Reflective Half BUFF® while on the treadmill or in my indoor fitness classes!  I highly recommend giving this product a try!

You can buy the UV Reflective Half BUFF® online for $14.99!
