Roundup of 30 Healthy Frozen Treats for the Summer

I’m excited to share over 2 dozen healthy frozen treats to cool you off this summer – I hope you enjoy!

One of my favorite things about the warm weather is cooling off with a delicious dessert.  We just had a heat wave in Philly that had temperatures soaring to the mid-90’s, so I was clearly in desperate need!  I’m Team Ice Cream all the way, but I also enjoy a good sorbet, frozen yogurt, or water ice (it’s a Philly thing – check out Rita’s!).  If it’s cold and refreshing, I’m good to go!

20 Easy and Healthy Recipes for Your March Madness Party

Are you a college basketball fan?  Have you ever gone to a March Madness party?

I love college basketball and March Madness!  I love filling out a bracket and beating out my coworkers and friends…it never gets old!  I graduated from Villanova grad school so I LOVE that I was able to watch them win the Championship last year and destroy the competition!  I’m still holding hope that my undergrad alma mater, Penn, while miraculously win the Ivy League tournament and enter the NCAA tournament for the first time in 10 years!

15 Healthy and Comforting Crockpot Soup, Stew, and Chili Recipes

Does the cold weather where you live have you craving some comfort food?

We’ve had some obnoxiously cold days in Philadelphia recently and while I’ve gone out to eat pretty often this past week, I’m really starting to miss some home cooking!  So what am I inspired to make this winter?  Soups, stews, and chilis!

Growing up, I wasn’t a fan of soup or chili…I always thought they were filling, but boring!  I guess I had too much of the canned stuff back then. Now that I’ve joined the blogging world (and Pinterest) and started cooking more at home, I’ve learned that there is so much creativity and so many healthy ways to enjoy these very hearty meals!

So I thought it would be great if I shared 15 different recipes for soup, chili, stews, and chowders that you can enjoy this winter.  Thanks so much to the healthy living bloggers that have contributed to this roundup! I’ve even got options for using your slow cooker or stovetop…if only I could create the way that they do!   I hope you enjoy these recipes!

New Year’s Resolutions for 2017

Happy New Year and welcome to 2017!  I am so excited that we are in a new year.  Did you do anything special to celebrate?

I always find the start of the year as an opportunity to hit the reset button.  I like to start fresh with a clean slate.  No regrets, right?  😉

But seriously, this is a great time of year to check in on your goals and think about your goals moving forward.  Whether you’re training for your first marathon or just trying to perfect that work-life balance, I find that it’s extremely helpful to write down your goals for the year and be as specific as possible.  Then you can regularly check in and monitor your progress!
