Run Safely in the Dark with Knuckle Lights

Do you run ever run early in the morning or late in the evening?  I used to love running early in the morning before work, but once Daylight Savings ended, it just wasn’t safe for me to be out there on my own since it was still dark outside.  I had to readjust my running schedule to run after work, which was much less convenient.  Now that I have Knuckle Lights, it’s a game changer!

What do you usually eat before you go on a long run or start a tough workout?  And what do you grab on the go or to recover after said workout?

Over the years, I’ve tried a variety of different types of fuel and I still haven’t been able to find a consistent routine.  I used to regularly have toast and jam before my long runs and then eventually get something to eat once I was done, but rarely in the 30-60 minute window.
