Am I a…mother runner?! Apparently I am!

It’s still so new and a little bit strange to be part of the community of moms who run. My little girl (aka Baby E) is 9 months old now, which is crazy to me! As I’ve been on my postpartum journey, it’s been a wild ride and I almost feel like I’ve had to start over in a lot of ways! A lot of “managing expectations” and the like…

So I was really excited to get the chance to trial membership to Many Happy Miles from Another Mother Runner. You may be familiar with AMR’s popular podcast. Many Happy Miles is a fitness platform and community for mother runners of any/all fitness levels. I think there’s something for just about everyone! Keep reading for my review!

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | fitness

I hope you’re doing well! We’re in the final quarter of 2020, which we can all say was no ordinary year. I thought September moved entirely too quickly for me, and with the leaves changing so soon I’m begging my favorite season of fall to slow down!

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve done one of those posts but I’m looking forward to sharing my fitness goals for October! Moving forward, I’ll be sharing my goals for the new month while assessing how well I did the previous month. It’s a great accountability tool!

America Runs Virtual 5K Recap

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the “new normal” that we face since COVID-19 changed all of our lives. As a runner, it was tough to see so many races being either postponed, re-tooled, or cancelled.

Thankfully, virtual races have been the real MVP. They are a great way to maintain your running fitness while being socially distant, stay motivated to train by giving you something to look forward to, and of course earn cool swag! I’m happy that I was able to participate in the America Runs Virtual 10K and I’m sharing my recap of the experience!

The coronavirus pandemic of 2020 has been shocking, saddening, and unfathomable. In the early days, so many people thought we’d be back to normal by the end of the year. Now we know that we’re living in a new normal that affects each and every one…

One of those new norms is wearing a mask when out and about. To me, it seems that social distancing and masks are here to stay. Since that’s the case, wearing a mask that is breathable and comfortable is so important! That’s why I was glad for the opportunity to test out the Body Helix Ultra Light Face Mask, and I’m sharing my review with you!
