What I Ate Wednesday: Top Eats from the Past Two Weeks

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | nutrition

Hello, hello!  In case you weren’t sure, I am still alive!  So much has happened, and I’ve hated to be away, but I haven’t been in the right mindset to dedicate time to the blog.

I’ve been sick for so long that I can’t remember when it began…but it’s been well over a month!  After coming back from my NYC Valentine’s weekend, I felt awful.  Those 5 miles I ran in Central Park may not have been the best idea after all because a few days later my cough was much worse and I was absolutely miserable.

I went to see the doctor today (finally).  It seems that I have probably caught a a couple of different viruses over the past month.  But thankfully it appears that the worst is over.  I was sent away with some quick blood work and a couple of prescriptions to help with my congestion and to help me sleep at night without coughing endlessly.  Can’t wait to be healthy again!

Since it is Wednesday, and it has been a long, I wanted to share some of my latest eats with the What I Ate Wednesday linkup from Peas and Crayons!

What’s for Dinner: Week of February 16

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | nutrition

Is anyone else completely over winter?  We had a Nor’easter blow through Wednesday and Thursday and it was just awful.  I refused to drive in to work so I had to take a long walk to the train station, a very long ride on the train, and then have a coworker pick me up. Then another coworker was kind enough to drive me home.

Walking  to work in 6 inches of snow at 5:30 am

In any event, it’s Sunday, and it’s time to share what I’m eating for dinner this week as part of the Meal Planning Sunday link up!

Nutrition Counseling: Time to Get Back on Track!

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | nutrition

On Wednesday I had my first Nutrition Counseling session for the year with Danielle, my dietitian.  Over the past year, I have been chronicling our time together and all that I’ve learned, and it’s been a great experience that has truly changed my life!   Check out my “nutrition” tags to read about my past experiences with Danielle.

One of the first things we did was the full body assessment.  The first time I did this was in August.  I stood on the fancy scale barefoot and held the handlebars while the machine did its magic.

Weekly Recap: I Am A Runner Feature!

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | blogging

As you probably know by now, the past couple of weeks I’ve been sick.  I’ve still got a horrible cough that won’t go away, but I’ve been taking those spoonfuls of apple cider vinegar so I hope it’ll clear up soon!

It’s a new week, so it’s that time when I recap my workouts from the last week.  Check out how other bloggers put their #bestfoot forward over at Run to the Finish!
