How’s your Labor Day weekend going so far? I hope you’re enjoying it! For me, it’s so nice to be out of the city and with family. Last weekend I attended the FitRetreat hosted by City Fit Girls. I’ve mentioned that I’m a new City Fit Girls Ambassador, and so far the experience has been really awesome! Let me tell you about the great time I had!
Hey! It’s Friday, and for me the beginning of a 4 day weekend, woohoo! Since it is Labor Day weekend, it’s the “unofficial” end of summer, and it definitely feels like summer is over!
So I’m linking up with the DC Trifecta: Eat Pray Run DC, You Signed Up for What, and Mar on the Run to give a Fall Preview. This is going to be an EXTREMELY busy time of the year for me, but I’m doing my best to keep my head up to conquer all of my goals! Here’s a glimpse of what lies ahead.
Hey hey! I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was a blast! On Friday night I went to CitySports for a fun preview of the FitRetreat with City Fit Girls. I bought a new yoga bag and gym bag that are both super cute! The FitRetreat on Saturday was INCREDIBLE! I am nice and sore from all the working out…gotta love it! Stay tuned for my Fit Retreat weekend within the next week! It really was an amazing time.
We had fun mingling and shopping at CitySports!
Since it is the beginning of a new week I’m going to focus on recapping the latest in my Rock and Roll Philly Half Marathon training. The race is now less than a month away! Week 6 went amazing, how did week 7 go?
Hey hey! It’s Monday, which can be a pain, but the good news is that it’s my birthday! I had an action-packed Saturday full of birthday celebrations, AND an 11-mile run that I did a kickass job (if I do say so myself!).
I wanted to do something fun and adventurous on my birthday so I found a great deal on Livingsocial to go to a rock climbing gym. Bret and my 2 girlfriends were able to come and we learned how to belay and how to climb. I’ve gone rock climbing a couple of times, not lately, but I never learned how to belay, that’s a lot of responsibility! Unfortunately, at one point, Bret was climbing and I realized I forgot to attach my anchor….scary!! Thankfully, he survived, and I think he has forgiven me!
