Hey! It’s Monday, also known as Martin Luther King Day. It is a day off of work for me, but also a day of service. Today I’ll be doing some volunteer work at a local community center in North Philly. Every year I enjoy doing a Day of Service activity with coworkers and friends, and today is no exception! Hopefully some of you are also participating in the National Day of Service!
I am so excited to debut the new Run With No Regrets newsletter! This is a project that I have been working on for a while, but I was too nervous/scared to take the leap and make it happen…until now! Some of you have already been subscribing to my blog posts, and I thank you for that! In addition to getting my RSS feed however, I’m creating content just for you as a valued reader of Run With No Regrets!
I am also looking for more ideas on what you would like to see in the newsletter…which leads to my second announcement below!
For the first time, I have created a reader’s survey for Run With No Regrets. I’ve been blogging for a little over a year and a half, and it’s great to see how far this blog has come. But there’s still so much that can be improved, and I need your feedback!
Below is my first survey for the blog. Everything that is captured is anonymous, so please be brutally honest. I want to know what makes you come to the blog, what makes you stay, and what would make you stay even longer!
So please take a few minutes to fill out the survey below! Just be sure to scroll down to answer all of the questions! Hopefully with the start of February, I’ll be able to implement some new changes to make this a better space for you, and a place you’d want to share with your friends! If you have any questions or any other thoughts you’d like to share, feel free to comment below or email me at any time at janelle at runwithnoregrets.com.
Monday 1/12: I did the Nike Training Club Power Press workout for 45 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of Dynamic Yoga. My side planks were a bit better, and I’m glad I’m doing a lot more single leg workouts to help with my balance.
Tuesday 1/13: Ran 2.5 miles at lunch and I felt like a rock star! Then I had boot camp after work. We didn’t have weights, but we did work with the big ball and did lots of core work, which is always good.
Wednesday 1/14: City Fit Girls running group was cancelled, which was actually great because this is when I started to feel sick!
Thursday 1/15: Rest.
Friday 1/16: Rest…
Saturday 1/17: Rest…
Sunday 1/18: Rest…God, do I miss working out!
I’d love if you could subscribe to the newsletter and fill out the reader survey above! How was your week of working out? Will you be participating in the Day of Service today?
