What’s for Dinner Week of 2/22/15

Happy Monday!  I hope you had a great weekend.  The weather has been insane lately in Philly.  We went from single digits on Friday, to snow to rain on Saturday, to 40 degrees on Sunday!  So when I went on my long run on Sunday, I had to hop over puddles and tons of slush…such a wet, sloppy mess!

I’m a little late, but I’m linking up with Jill Conyers and Laura of Mommy Run Fast for What’s for Dinner!  Meal planning is HUGE in my life – I’m incredibly busy these days, and having my meals planned for the week are necessary for my sanity!  I can never say enough about why meal planning is so great.   The past week we were running low on food so it was difficult to make anything interesting…so yay for having food now!


Meals for the Week:.

Monday 2/23:

  • Breakfast:  Cereal and fruit
  • Lunch: Leftovers
  • Dinner:  Bret’s night

Tuesday 2/24:

  • Breakfast: Green smoothie and cereal
  • Lunch: Tuna salad and fruit
  • Dinner:  Cod with potatoes and spinach salad

Wednesday 2/25:

  • Breakfast: Green smoothie and cereal
  • Lunch: Tuna Salad and fruit
  • Dinner: Out for a networking event for Engineers’ Week!

Thursday 2/26:

  • Breakfast: Green smoothie and cereal
  • Lunch: Tuna Salad and Fruit
  • Dinner:  Homemade pizza

Friday 2/27:

Saturday 2/28:

  • Breakfast: Most likely a light breakfast – bagels or cereal with fruit.
  • Lunch: Doing a pretty cool tour at a distillery in the burbs…I’ll definitely sneak some pics to share next week!
  • Dinner: Pasta and veggies

Sunday 2/29:

  • Brunch: French toast and sweet potato veggie hash
  • Dinner:  Something in the slow cooker…
