Where will you be on Sunday, April 10, 2016? I hope your answer is Philadelphia for the Love Run Half Marathon! I’ve got some exciting news: If you want to run with Brotherly Love but at a shorter distance, now you can – with the brand new Love Run Relay!
New for 2016, CGI Racing introduces the Love Run Relay on April 10, 2016. Grab two of your running buddies for the three-person relay team!
After years of requests from past runners of the half marathon, the relay option has finally been added as part of the Love Run Philadelphia Half Marathon Weekend. So, for those of you who want to experience the Half Marathon fun…but don’t necessarily want to run 13.1 miles…this relay is for you!
Grab two of your best running friends to run the half marathon as a team! Each leg of the race will be between three and five miles. One chip exchange is at Eakin’s Oval and the other will be at the Strawberry Mansion Bridge. Shuttles will be provided to take runners to and from the on-course chip exchange.
Each team member gets tons of awesome swag including:
Awards will be given to the fastest men’s, women’s and co-ed teams (1st, 2nd and 3rd).
The relay is limited to the first 500 teams so grab two of your favorite (or fastest) running buddies and don’t miss out on this incredible race weekend. Registration is now open as of midnight on Monday, December 14!
