Cherry Blossom Training Week 8 Recap

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | training

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve done a workout recap!  Leading up to and after the Rock ‘N Roll DC Half Marathon, I’ve been really busy with traveling and not able to run or workout as often as I intended.

But now things are back to schedule and I’m getting ever so closer to the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run on Sunday, April 3!  I’m getting close to the taper!

I’m linking up with Annmarie at The Fit Foodie Mama, Angelena Marie at Angelena Marie: Happy, Healthy & Balanced, Michelle at Fruition Fitness, and Nicole at Fitful Focus for Wild Workout Wednesday! Check any of their sites to pick up some fun workouts to try!

5 Best Things About Rock N Roll Races

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | running

Long time no talk!  It’s been really weird to have such a long hiatus without posting, but I’m back!

I’m still riding the high of the Rock ‘N Roll DC Half Marathon from a couple of weekends ago.  It went beyond my wildest expectations and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to sign up relatively at the last minute!

It’s Tuesday, so I’m linking up with Marcia, Erika, and Patty for Tuesdays on the Run!  The theme this week is race shirts.  When I go for my run today, I’ll finally get to wear my new race shirt from RNR DC that is too cute!  But I thought  I’d take this time to talk about the 5 best things about Rock ‘N Roll races!

Rock N Roll DC Half Marathon Recap

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | race recap

I ran a half marathon last weekend.  And for the first time, I didn’t specifically train for it.

If you saw my goals that I shared for the Rock N Roll DC Half Marathon, you know that I was all kinds of nervous about this race for that very reason.  I’m happy to say that I ran the entire race with a smile on my face!

I’m sharing my recap with Tuesdays on the Run, hosted by Erika, Patty, and Marcia!  The theme this week is “The hardest part about running”.  I can definitely say that PACING is a big challenge for me when it comes to running, and it was such an important part of the RNR DC Half Marathon!  Let me tell you all about it!
