Philly Marathon Training Week 3 Recap

Happy Monday!  Did you have a good weekend?  I can’t believe the Olympics are finally over.  I have to admit I’m glad I get my life back, and now I’m seriously thinking about heading to Tokyo in 2020 – they’re going to have a blast!

I am now entering my fourth week of marathon training – time is flying by!  Things are still going pretty well, but I’m getting anxious to start running 4 days a week.  It will still be a few weeks before that time comes, but the nice thing about 3 days a week is that there’s no excuse to get it all done!

I’m joining in the Weekly Wrap with Holly and Tricia where women share their health and fitness activities, successes and challenges!

Philly Marathon Training Week 2 Recap

How was your weekend?  Did you have crazy hot temperatures like we did in Philly?  If you found some time to hang out in a swimming pool, I envy you…

I’m now heading into my third week of marathon training…and yes, saying that I’m training for a marathon hasn’t gotten old yet!  The summer heat and humidity continue to make things really tough, but I’m still pushing through…

Throwback Thursday Running Playlist: Female Groups

Philly Marathon Training Week 1 Recap

How was your weekend?  Are you feeling the Olympics fever?  I’m doing my best to watch as many events as possible.  Somehow I missed most of the Olympics in 2012 so I’m not letting that happen this year!

I’ve just wrapped up my first week of training for the Philly Marathon and I’m off to a pretty strong start that I hope to maintain these next several weeks!  As usual, I’ll be sharing my weekly training recap on Mondays and giving a report card for each week.  Hopefully, you enjoy following me along as I train for my very first marathon!
