Philly Love Run 2017 Registration Opens 9/15/16!

Fall racing season is well underway and while it seems too soon, it’s already time to start thinking about races for next year!

I’m excited to announce that registration for the 2017 Love Run Half Marathon in Philadelphia kicks off on Thursday, September 15 at midnight!  The race is taking place on Sunday, March 26, 2017.  Registration will be only $65 on opening day, but you can also enter the Facebook sweepstakes to get your registration price reduced to only $32.50!  That is a deal that is tough to beat!

2017 Love Run Half Marathon Opens 9/15/16

This Thursday, September 15 starting at 12:00 am, registration for the Love Run will open at the low rate of $65.  And in honor of Opening Day, 150 lucky runners who register will be able to sign up for HALF price – $32.50!  

So here’s what you have to do to take advantage:

• Register for the Love Run online, the earlier the better!
• Starting at 10 am, every hour, CGI Racing will select 25 winners to get 1/2 off opening registration!
• Winners will be announced on the Love Run Facebook page each hour – so make sure you’re following!!
• If you don’t win in round 1, your name will be tossed back in for the next hour’s drawing.
• Good luck!

Looking for form a Team for the Love Run?

If you want to have a team for the Love Run, pre-registration begins at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 14, 2016!  There will only be limited team slots available, so sign up as soon as possible.  Team perks include:

• Club Discount for teams with 20 or more runners
• Free Tent or Private Port A John
• Free Massages from Phila Massages

What Is the Love Run Anyway?

The Love Run is the premier spring half marathon in Philadelphia and continues to get bigger each year!  Last year, they introduced a half marathon relay option for 3-teammates, and it was a really fun time!

The course starts in front of the famous Philadelphia Museum of Art, takes you into Center City, and then you’ll run down Kelly and MLK Drives with a lot of hills along the way!

Why should you sign up?  You’ll get tons of swag!  Last year, registration included:

2017 Love Run Race Ambassador

I am happy to announce that I have been selected to once again serve as an Ambassador for the Love Run Half Marathon in 2017!  My first experience was this past year and it was awesome – I ran the half marathon 3-person relay and was able to give away a few FREE race entries on the blog, so I look forward to doing the same for 2017!  And instead of the relay, I’ll finally be running this challenging half marathon in its entirety!
