Goals for the Perfect 10 Miler

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | training

Fall racing continues and it’s finally time for my 3rd race of the season – the Perfect 10 Miler!

The Perfect 10 Miler is the largest all women’s 10-mile race in the country, and I’m honored to have been able to be an ambassador this year.  It seems that the 10-mile distance has grown to be one of my favorites – this will be my 7th 10-mile race and my 4th 10 miler just in this year alone.  2016 has been a busy year of races and I’m so grateful!

Since I’m keeping extremely busy training for the Philadelphia Marathon on November 10, I’ll be using this race as a training run, but as always, I have some goals!  Keep reading to check them out!

I’m linking up with Susie, Debbie, Lora, and Rachel for the Running Coaches Corner  and  Angela and Ilka for Sunday Fitness and Food linkups!  Check out their sites to find new workouts to try and lots of great running tips!I'm sharing my goals for the Perfect 10 Miler taking place in Mercer County, NJ on October 23, 2016! Philly Marathon Training Week 11 Recap

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | training

Are you ready for a new week to begin?  I’m hoping that this will be a good one!

I’ve only got a few weeks left in my Philly marathon training.  November 20 will be here before I know it, but I still have a long way to go before I get there!  I’m thankful that I was able to complete my 18-mile long run.  I’m still wondering how the heck I’ll be able to handle 8 more miles on top of that, but the hard work seems to be paying off!

I’m joining HoHo and Tricia for the Weekly Wrap,  Patty, Marcia, and Erika for Tuesdays on the Run, and  Annmarie, Nicole, Jen, and Michelle for Wild Workout Wednesday!

Time for the weekly wrap! How was your week of working out? #weeklywrap Click To TweetI'm training for my very first marathon, the Philly Marathon! Check out my weekly recap of my running and working out and find more running tips at!

Throwback Thursday Running Playlist: Pop Princesses

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | music , running

How have you been enjoying your running music playlist lately?  Are you listening to a lot of variety or just the same old stuff?

If you’ve followed my marathon training journey, you would know that I listening to music while running is a must for me, because I can easily get bored on my long, solo runs.  A great music playlist can keep you motivated and provide a nice distraction while grinding out your miles or doing any intense workout!

Every 2nd Thursday of the month, I’ll be featuring a Spotify playlist featuring Throwback tunes with a theme covering various genres that I loved when I was growing up in the 90’s and early 2000’s.  So far I’ve created 2 other playlists:

Clearly, I’ve been a very pop-py state of mind, so for this month, I want to show love to some of my favorite female pop artists!  You can call them pop princesses, queens, whatever!  All I know is they provide great music to dance to and to run to, so I hope you enjoy the playlist!

Time for another #throwbackthursday running playlist - Pop Princesses! #runchat Click To Tweet

Every month I share a "throwback" music playlist perfect for heading out for a run! Check it out and more running resources at!

ZOOMA Cape Cod Yoga and Run Fitness Weekend

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | fitness , race recap

I really hate that I’ve taken so long to give a recap of ZOOMA Cape Cod, but I’ve finally had the time and the photos to share my full recap!

From September 23-25, my sister and I drove to Falmouth, Massachusetts for the ZOOMA Cape Cod Yoga and Fitness Weekend.  What originally was going to be a half marathon and 10K weekend was transformed into a more laidback getaway with yoga and the option to run.  But I’ll get more into that a little later…keep reading!

I’m linking up with Patty, Marcia, and Erika for Tuesdays on the Run, Jen, and Michelle for Wild Workout Wednesday and Susie, Debbie, Lora, and Rachel for the Running Coaches Corner!

Disclaimer:  I am a ZOOMA Ambassador, meaning that my registration to ZOOMA Cape Cod was free.  I did pay for my own travel and accommodations.  All opinions are completely honest!

Check out my recap of the @ZOOMARun Yoga and Fitness Weekend in Cape Cod! #zoomanation #runchat Click To TweetIn September, I participated in ZOOMA's Yoga and Fitness Weekend in Cape Cod. It was a lovely time and I covered a lot of miles and downward dog. Check out the recap and more race recaps at!
