Love Run Half Marathon Training Week 7 Recap

Is it still winter or did the groundhog get it wrong?

I hope you have a great weekend – the weather was extremely nice for us in Philly, it didn’t make any sense (though I’m not complaining)!  I’m still training for the upcoming Love Run Half Marathon in March and I’m happy to report that I am back to running!

Benefits of Yoga for Runners with CorePower Yoga

Is it really true that runners should do yoga?  Is “yoga for runners” really a thing?

I’ve been practicing yoga for a couple of years now and I can wholeheartedly say yes!  Yoga is a great complement to running and it has become one of my favorite ways to stay fit and in control of my health and well-being.

Tunes Tuesday: Love Songs from American Idols

What happens when Valentine’s Day falls on Tunes Tuesday?  You get to hear some “new” old love songs…with a twist!

It’s time for Tunes Tuesday hosted by Kimberly at Kooky Runner, Steffany at Run Steff Run and me!  Every Tuesday we’ll be sharing our favorite music with a different theme each week.  We hope it’ll be a fun way to find new music to listen to and also get to know each other a little bit better!

Love Run Half Marathon Training Week 6 Recap

My training for the Love Run Half Marathon has come to a halt…

Okay, it’s not as bad as it sounds, but I had to listen to my instincts and look into a potential injury.  The theme of this past week of training is “better safe than sorry”!  Keep reading to find out what’s going on with me.
