Do you have any favorite pump-up music that makes you want to dance?

It’s time for another Tunes Tuesday linkup with Steff from Run Steff Run and Kimberly from Kooky Runner.  We’re so excited to have you share your favorite music with us each week!  We’re looking for inspiration for our running and workout playlists and even a “jog” down memory lane as you share your favorite jams!  The theme this week is pump up music and I’m sharing a few of my favorite dance and electronic tunes!

I’m also sharing my playlist with Angela and Ilka for the Sunday Fitness and Food linkup and Marcia, Patty, and Erika for Tuesdays on the Run!

Tunes Tuesday: Pump Up Electronic/Dance Music

I really hope that you’ve been enjoying my Tunes Tuesday posts.  It’s really been an interesting challenge going into my music archives each week and sharing some of my favorites to add a little inspiration to your workout playlist!  This week’s theme is pump up music and I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite electronic and dance tracks!

In case you missed it, here were my Tunes Tuesday posts from February so far:

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve always loved dance music in all its various genres:  house, techno, electronica, UK garage, etc.  Was I a raver in a previous life?  I have no idea!  I’d love to dig deeper and “discover” more artists and different songs that make up electronic and dance music.  If you have any recommendations, let me know!

Check out my picks for electronic and dance music that will get you hyped up!  Feel free to follow my playlist below on Spotify – it’ll be updated each month with more pump-up music!

Featured Dance/Electronic Artists: Pump Up Music

Looking for new music for your workout playlist? Check out Tunes Tuesday, hosted by Run Steff Run, Kooky Runner, and Run With No Regrets! Enjoy this playlist featuring electronic music that will pump you up on your next workout!

Daft Punk – Television Rules the Nation/Crescendolls:  I am a HUGE Daft Punk fan.  I first fell in love with them when One More Time came out in the late 90’s.  I’ll listen to anything they put out!  This mashup is from their Alive 2007 live album.  I love listening to it in the car!

David Guetta ft. Kid Cudi – Memories:  I’m a pretty big Kid Cudi fan and this is a song that I can easily put on repeat!

Calvin Harris ft. Rihanna – We Found Love:  One of my favorite Rihanna songs (I know, she has so many at this point it’s hard to keep track!)

Technotronic – Move This:  I’m all about some good 90’s music!  Pump Up the Jam would’ve been too easy, right?

C&C Music Factory – Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now):  Does anyone remember that episode of The Fresh Prince when Aunt Viv has that dance audition?  Classic!

SNAP! – The Power:  I’m already dancing just thinking about this song!

Crystal Waters:  Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless):  If you want a quick laugh, look up In Living Color parodying this song!  I used to love this song as a kid!

Avicii – Wake Me Up:  I can’t deny how much this song pumps me up!

Justice – One Minute to Midnight:  I love Justice, they’ve got some great jams.  There’s something about this song that really gets me pumped!

Daniel Bedingfield – Gotta Get Thru This:  I used to be absolutely addicted to this song!
