Buffalo Half Marathon Training Week 2 Recap

Training for the Buffalo Half Marathon continues and this weekend I ran one of my favorite races – the Run for Clean Air!

Every year, I run the Run for Clean Air 5K with my coworkers and last year I got a PR!  This year, I ran the 10K and spoiler alert, I got another PR!  Keep reading to find out how!

March Monthly Goal Recap and April Running Goals

According to my calendar, it’s April.  I don’t know how this happened…do you?

Time continues to fly, and we are now in the second quarter of 2017.  With the start of a new month, I’d like to look back on the running and fitness goals I set for March and share how I plan to tackle April.  I’ve been doing these goal recaps on the blog for the past few months and it really helps with accountability…I highly recommend it!

Buffalo Half Marathon Training Week 1 Recap

Before I recap my week of training, I want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who congratulated me on my 2:11:08 performance at the Love Run Half Marathon.  It was a very emotional experience and I’m still on cloud nine!  Your positive comments and well wishes mean the world to me.

Now, I’m keeping up the momentum and looking forward to the next big race – the Buffalo Half Marathon!  I’ve heard such great things about this race and it’ll be here before I know it!  I’ll be sharing my training over the next several weeks and I hope you enjoy following my progress along the way!
