Buffalo Half Marathon Training Week 8 Recap

The Buffalo Half Marathon is less than a week away.  The big race is SO close!

How have your workouts been going?  I worked really hard in my latest week of training, but unfortunately, the knee pain was much more of a challenge and my calves aren’t too happy with me either.

I’m joining Courtney of Eat Pray Run DC for her Weekly Training Recap linkup and HoHo and Tricia for the Weekly Wrap!  These are great ways to keep accountable and share your workouts with fellow runners!

When you’re a runner, you put your feet through a lot with every single mile, whether on pavement, hitting the trails, or running on the treadmill.  All that extra impact on your feet can take its toll over time.  Since our feet do so much for us, wouldn’t it be nice to show them a little TLC?  That’s where the new OOFOS OOmg comes in!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been wearing the OOFOS OOmg recovery shoe either after my long runs, between fitness classes, and even to work!  They are extremely comfortable and my feet have never felt better!  I’m so excited to finally share my full review!

Buffalo Half Marathon Training Week 7 Recap

Happy belated Mother’s Day to all of the mothers and mother figures out there!  Did you do anything special over the weekend?  How were your workouts this past week?

I’m now less than 2 weeks away from the Buffalo Half Marathon!  I’m getting so excited for my hometown race, but I still have some work to do!
