Running 101: How to Plan Your Next Year of Running

We are rapidly approaching December and that means we’re wrapping up this year and moving on to the next!

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what my race plan is for 2018.  I’ve already announced that I am signing up for a spring marathon (my second), but beyond that, I’m extremely flexible!  Since I’ve been hearing a lot from other runners/bloggers that they haven’t nailed down their race calendar, I thought this would be a great Running 101 topic to help you figure out where to go next!

That’s right, Running 101 is back in session!  I have really enjoyed creating posts catered to beginners and offering tips to help maximize your experience as a new runner while providing some friendly reminders to the more experienced runners!  I really hope you appreciate my tips on how to plan your next year of running – now is the time!

Rothman 8K Race Recap

How was your weekend?  For me it was pretty fun thanks to Philadelphia Marathon Weekend and racing in the Rothman 8K!  

This was my first time running the Rothman 8K, and now I see that I’ve been missing a pretty fun race after all these years!  I’m happy to share my recap with you!

Runfessions – November 2017

Can I get a TGIF?  Was this a super long, super busy week for anyone else, or is it just me?

November is flying by, so much so that Thanksgiving is less than a week away!  But even though we’re only halfway through the month, I am starting my Runfessions a week early while I have the time!  On the last Friday of every month, Marcia hosts Runfessions, a great opportunity to get some things off your chest!  I’m also linking up with Running on Happy and Fairytales and Fitness for the Friday 5 2.0!  Check all of their sites to see what everyone is up to!

If you’re anything like me, you’re always looking for a healthy snack.    I’ve tried making products from scratch, but I’m a pretty lazy cook – so having something easy to grab on the go is a necessity.   I have tried so many different brands but was never satisfied – either they were too sweet, too chalky, or too expensive.  But I think I’ve finally found a keeper with the Health Warrior Chia Bars!  Keep reading to check out my review!
