Time is moving quickly, isn’t it? I’m just so grateful that the weekend is finally here!
Since it’s the first Saturday in November, it’s time to join Coco and Deborah for the Ultimate Coffee Date! While this is a running blog, sometimes it’s refreshing to just talk about everyday life! Let’s catch up!

Ultimate Coffee Date – November 2017
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that I have been EXTREMELY busy lately, and it’s pretty overwhelming. The hours at work fly by, but I’m busy every single moment. It’s good, but a little grueling for me right now…way too many meetings! Then, of course, I’m still trying to keep physically active, plan NSBE activities, enjoy time at home, and squeeze in some social time …oh, and blogging! I’m really hoping that things wind down soon.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that I’ve been testing out some gear from ProViz Sports and so far so good! I have the Pixelite Performance Women’s Running Vest that I wore on my run a couple of nights ago, and the Pixelite Performance Women’s Running Tights that I need to wait for the weather to get a little cooler! The material is light and I can’t wait to see how effective they are when wearing them in the dark!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that if you ever watched General Hospital back in the day…come back now! They are in the midst of a Tale of Two Jason Morgans and let me tell you, every episode is full of suspense and all the feels! The original actor who played Jason Morgan is back and I didn’t realize how much I missed him until now! I used to be really into the mob element of General Hospital until it got a little too ridiculous…but the writing has been great the past month and a half and now GH is must-see TV! I even got my sister to start watching again, lol!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that my blogging activity clearly hasn’t been as great this fall, but wouldn’t you know that I’m having the best traffic that I’ve ever had with nearly 14,000 page views? Well, apparently my Race Discounts page is traffic gold! And I will do a shameless plug here – I have access to these discounts due to being a Bibrave Pro Ambassador, and I will be back for 2018! I’ve really enjoyed being a BibRave Pro the past 2 years and have met some really cool people! If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that I am still hunting for a spring marathon. I want to stay in the Northeast/MidAtlantic/DMV area…no cross-country or international trips for me next year! I’m targeting an April or May race…Coastal Delaware and Vermont City are at the top of my list right now! And my friend spoke so highly of Pittsburgh that it’s on my radar too! If you have any recommendations, let me know!

I used to watch GH back in the days of Luke and Laura. LOL! I’m old…
The actor who played Luke recently retired, but Laura is still on the show and just got engaged to Kevin Collins. A lot has changed, but it still has its fun moments!
Wow, I haven’t watched GH in ages. All My Children was my soap back in the day.
I used to watch All My Children too! Such a shame that it got canceled, along with One Life to Live!
Once I get through Thanksgiving it’s really easy coasting for me for the most part. But there’s a lot to do between now & then.
I hope work simmers down. Meetings are the worst! I swear that’s all my husband does at work.
I have to figure out what my “signature dish” will be for Thanksgiving…I’m not hosting this year so the pressure’s off at least! Wish I could sample some of your baking 😛

Oh gosh, General Hospital! That was my first soap…like in middle school(?), back in the Luke and Laura days LOL I watched it some through my freshman year of college, then YR took hold of me and I never went back to GH. It’s been many years since I’ve faithfully watched any soap; when I was hospitalized in July, I tried to watch YR a few days and was SOOOO lost.
LOL, I know that GH used to be so good back then. I got into it in the 90’s as a little kid and so many of those stories are still iconic. Now, the show isn’t nearly as good, but the latest storyline is working for me!
I never watched Y&R but my grandmother did, lol! I think it came on after the Price is Right haha!
I was a huge fan of GH back when Luke and Laura were a couple and finally married. I took off work to watch that episode because — no DVR back then! We didn’t even have cable (EEK). Anyway, I don’t even know who Jason Morgan is! LOL.
I think over 30 million people watched Luke and Laura get married…crazy! Oh, Jason Morgan came to be in 1996 – he was originally Jason Quartermaine, Alan’s son who got in a drunk driving accident (thanks to his alcoholic brother, AJ) giving him brain damage that made him forget about his life as a Q. He changed his name to Jason Morgan and then ended up working for Sonny Corinthos in the mob. It was a really interesting story when it first came out, haha!
Hope work simmers down. I totally get it. I am so busy and am really slacking on the blog esp commenting.
Yes, when you have long work days the last thing you want to do is a bunch of blog work – at least that’s me, lol!
Totally with you on General Hospital! I also didn’t realize how much I missed Steve Burton until he came back. He was good on Young & the Restless, but GH is definitely his home! The storyline is so good and everyone is really bringing their A game!

Yeah, Steve is really bringing it and when he and Sonny reunited I was all in!! It’ll be interesting to see how the full story unfolds…the writing has been so good!

OMG! GH is so good right now!! My coworker and I take lunch when it’s on, and it’s definitely the highlight of our days. I love that Steve Burton is back. Those blue eyes are intoxicating and I love his acting. I just can’t get enough right now. It’s on 5 days a week, and I still want MORE. LOL

How cool you are continuing to be a BibRave Ambassador. Sounds like you get a lot of goodies from there. I know some brands do not even give you anything but they want you to advertise for them. I always thought about Pittsburgh Marathon as well, but I hear there are many hills along the course that does not sound fun.
