I hope you’re having a great day so far! It’s not too late to join us for Tunes Tuesday – we’re rocking out all month long!
For this month’s Tunes Tuesday, Kim from Kooky Runner, Steff from Run Steff Run, and I are sharing our favorite love songs! Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, so I thought I’d share some love songs right in the nick of time!
Remember – Tunes Tuesday is now taking place on the first Tuesday of every month – we hope you join us!

Who doesn’t love a good love song? I don’t know the percentages, but I’m sure that at least 75% of songs that are released are somehow related to love…happiness in love, sadness, heartbreak, anger…so many emotions! For this month’s playlist, I decided to go with songs that have love in the title, otherwise, I would just have a completely random playlist that doesn’t make much sense! Check out my Spotify playlist below and the reasoning behind my picks! I think I’ll listen to this playlist during tonight’s run!
This Love – Maroon 5: Oh, they had such humble beginnings! I enjoyed them a lot more when they weren’t so mainstream.
Lovefool – The Cardigans: This is one of those 90’s songs that you completely forgot existed until it comes and you know all the words!
Show Me Love – Robyn: I absolutely LOVE this woman. She has such a completely different sound now, but I liked her early hits too.
Blowin’ Me Up (With Her Love) – JC Chasez: You guys know I’m a huge *NSYNC fan…I still bad for JC…his solo debut should have been MUCH better!
100% Pure Love – Crystal Waters: You gotta love those early 90’s club hits!
Lucky Love – Ace of Base: I’m a big fan of them too and I really like this acoustic version of the song.
DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love – Usher ft. Pitbull: It’s a classic, lol!
What’s Luv? – Fat Joe, Ashanti, Ja Rule: I used to LOVE this song back in the day, haha!
Crazy in Love – Beyonce ft. Jay Z: The ultimate power couple…this one will always be my favorite duet.
Digital Love – Daft Punk: You also know how much I love this group.
Love Me – 112 ft. Mase: A throwback R&B jam that I always loved.
I Need Your Love – Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding: Calvin Harris can’t help that every single he puts out is a huge hit. This is one of my jams!
Love So Soft – Kelly Clarkson: This song was a new one for me and I really like it!
Love Lockdown – Kanye West: You know I have mixed feelings about this guy…but I do really like this song lol.
Find Your Love – Drake: I almost forgot about this song! And I believe it was a collaboration with Mr. West…go figure!
Fell In Love With a Girl – The White Stripes: This song is too short! But I love it!
Hate That I Love You – Rihanna, Ne-Yo: This is probably the slowest song that I have on the playlist…but I enjoy itD!
You’ve Got the Love – Florence + The Machine: Another great song to round out the list!
