We’re getting closer to 2018 being halfway over, it’s crazy! The start of June means that summertime is finally here!
Since it’s the first Saturday in June(!), it’s time to join Coco and Deborah for the Ultimate Coffee Date! While this is a running blog, sometimes it’s refreshing to just talk about everyday life! Let’s catch up – and be sure to check out Coco and Deborah’s sites to see what everyone’s talking about!Let's catch up with some coffee (or tea) with the #ultimatecoffeedate! Click To Tweet
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that I will be sipping tea during our chat! While I was on vacation over the Memorial Day Weekend, I had the most fantastic herbal tea from Harney & Sons for the first time! I tried the Yellow and Blue and the Ginger flavored teas and both were so good! Now I want to buy stock in Harney & Sons and try every flavor, lol! I actually won an Instagram contest several months ago where I received practically a lifetime supply of Zhena’s Tea, which is also really delicious! I need to start acting British and have designated tea time every day, lol! Have you ever had either of these brands of tea? Highly recommend!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that I had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend! Bret and I were in desperate need to get away, and in 3 hours’ time, we were enjoying the beautiful Hudson Valley in upstate New York! We went hiking and sightseeing at the Minnewaska State Park Reserve, visited the FDR Home and Museum, and enjoyed a local winery and cidery, among other sights. And our B&B was absolutely gorgeous! It was a wonderful getaway, I just wish we could have stayed longer! Did you do anything special over the past weekend? Sadly, we didn’t have enough time to hit the grill this year.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that my sleeping patterns have been all over the place lately. I just can’t seem to get a complete night’s sleep…I keep tossing and turning in the middle of the night. It’s so annoying! And now that the weather is getting warmer, it’s getting worse!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that it still feels weird to not be running as often over the past month. I feel a little guilty about that, but it’s been great to have the freedom to do other things!! A couple of days ago, a friend and I met up to take a free barre class at a hotel downtown and while I regularly take barre, this class was HARD! I definitely rediscovered muscles that I forgot existed, haha! Sometimes it’s good to mix things up.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you…that we received our very first wedding gifts, so exciting! It’ s really happening!! The wedding is a little less than 5 months away and there is still so much to do! Now I’m trying to decide on the right design for the invitations. I get overwhelmed because there are so many options, but I’m trying to give myself deadlines so that I have less time to agonize over every single decision!
What would you share with me over coffee/tea?
