Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap

So what exactly is this amazing product?   The Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap is a great tool for your sweaty workouts.  If you’ve ever gone for a run or gone to the gym and headed to your car right after, you may have wished that you had a way to dry off while also keeping your car clean.  Instead of grabbing one of your shabbier towels at home, you should definitely use this Orange Mud towel!

Here are a few features:

  • 30″ wide x 60″ long
  • Microfiber material (an upgrade from the previous cotton model)
  • Impact-resistant polymer clip (to keep you secure while you change)
  • Laser cut super tough belt
  • Comes in a variety of colors

It has already been making a huge difference for me and my workouts, and my fellow BibRave Pros have been singing their praises!

As a Changing Towel

The coolest thing about the Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap is the ability to use the belt and clip to securely keep covered while you change.  I’ve made the extremely awkward change of wardrobe in a Port-a-potty, and it is NOT fun!  Instead, you can get changed outside and not worry about flashing anyone, lol!

It’s very rare that I make videos, but here’s one where I changed out of my work clothes to my workout clothes for lunchtime yoga.  I was nervous that I wouldn’t be able to get changed discreetly, but this was done in one take!  Once you get used to adjusting the belt, it’s so easy!

As a Seat Wrap

My favorite use so far is as a seat protector for my car.  If you zip up the top, it acts as a “hood” that you can hang on the headrest and then place the wrapover your seat.  The first time I used it in this function was after an intentionally sweaty session at the gym after work.  I ran 3 miles on the treadmill and worked on some of the stationary machines.  When I headed to my car for the drive home, I simply placed the seat wrap on top and it made a huge difference!  The towel is super soft and I honestly felt like my body cooled down much less dramatically on the way home.  Once I got home, I could just pick up the towel and toss it in the wash.  Runfession – I haven’t washed the towel yet!  It seems to do a great job of absorbing odors because I don’t smell anything yet!

As a Gym Towel

The simplest way to use the Orange Mud seat wrap is as a regular towel.  The microfiber material is extremely plush and due to its large size, you’ll have plenty of coverage.  I use a towel regularly in spinning class, and this towel works great in a pinch.  It could probably also be used just as a “heat sheet” after a race – it’s definitely a more environmentally-friendly alternative!

It certainly fills up my gym bag!

I’ve really enjoyed using this product!  When I ran the Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash, and Muckfest MS a few years ago this would have been perfect tool for getting out of my filthy, muddy clothes!  And when I ran Ragnar Relay Pennsylvania last year, it would have been perfect for those awkward changes in the car – and would have been great to sit on too!  Once I get back to regularly running and training again, I will definitely pack this towel in my checked bag!

If you’re interested in getting your own Orange Mud towel, they cost $39.99 but you can save 15% with code OMTRX!  I’ve also heard that Orange Mud regularly has discounts, so take advantage, especially during the holidays.  This is a great gift for the fitness fanatic in your life…including yourself!  I highly recommend getting this towel!
