Everyone I know who has visited Nashville talks about the amazing live music that you can enjoy in the city. Plus, there’s tons of history. While I’m not a country fan, I do enjoy learning about the history of the recording music industry. Here are a few attractions that I hope to get to check out when I’m in town:
- Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
- Grand Ole Opry
- Broadway
- Music Row
Enjoy a Scenic Course
You will get a pretty good tour of Nashville during the race, especially if you’re running the full marathon! One thing that has been warned is that Nashville has LOTS of hills! Be sure to get in plenty of hill training to prepare for this race!

Rock ‘n Roll is INFAMOUS for their gorgeous, creative finisher’s medals. The medals for 2019 have just been revealed and wow! This year’s collection includes LED lights and glitter. I can’t wait to earn mine in a few weeks!

I would love to try to run this race next year! I’m actually going to Nashville for a conference this summer and it will be my first time in the city. I’m hoping I can squeeze in some sight seeing inbetween conference sessions and meetings!

My sister and I visited Nashville last fall and I loved it! We did a ton of walking and I couldn’t help but notice how hilly it is there. I bet the race will be a lot of fun!

Travel schedule doesn’t work for me for this, but it looks great. And I am wholly a country girl so Nashville has been on the bucket list. Look forward to your city guide for when I do make it

I have been to Nashville a few times, but have never run there. I’d LOVE to do the RnR in Nashville someday (this year isn’t the year, though).

I’ve been to Nashville twice, for work and another time to run. I also did the RnR Nashville and I was miserable because it rained the entire race. Oh and it was hilly too which I did not like. 😜
I think my favorites are Philadelphia (flat) and Las Vegas (because, why not?). Chicago is cool too but it is always so darn hot!
