Have you ever been to Nashville, Tenessee? I haven’t, but I’ve always heard great things about the music and the food! I’ll be heading to Nashville for the very first time for the Rock ‘n Roll Nashville Half Marathon, and I can’t wait!

Whenever I travel to a new city, call me crazy, but I look for the best restaurants and the best places to run! That’s why I’m excited to share the Nashville Notes Runner’s Guide that was put together by Bibrave and Brooks!

I’m linking up with Kim and Zenaida for Tuesday Topics, and DebbieMarc, and Rachel for the Running Coaches Corner.

Nashville Notes: A Runner’s Guide to Music City

Brooks Running has partnered with Bibrave to create this fantastic guide for runners in Nashville, just in time for those heading to Rock ‘n Roll race weekend! There are recommendations for attractions, food and drink, and Instagram-worthy photo ops, of course! The detailed Google Map is below!

Shakeout Runs in Nashville

I’m super excited to get a great tour of the city during Rock ‘n Roll Nashville, but I’ll actually be in town for a few extra days for a work conference, so I’d love to find a place to escape for a run outdoors! Nashville Notes provides three recommendations in their guide:

  • Shelby Bottoms – surrounded by nature with 5 miles of trails and paved paths (see pic above!)
  • Centennial Park – a nice short trail with views of the Parthenon
  • Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail – a trail running through lush forests, about 30 mins outside of the city

I wish I could visit them all! I’m a sucker for trail running and these look like amazing places to run!

Nashville Notes Scavenger Hunt

I’m excited to share that you can have an opportunity to win a pair of Brooks Glycerin 17! I recently reviewed them on the blog!

During Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville race weekend, April 25th through the 29th, use the Nashville Notes: a Runner’s Guide to Music City Google Map (above) to explore the city. If you visit one of the locations on the guide, post a pic of your visit on Twitter or Instagram (Instagram Stories are not eligible) using #BrooksNashNotes and you’ll be entered to win a pair of Brooks Glycerin 17. A winner will be selected at random and notified on May 3rd!

More Recommendations!

This is only the tip of the iceberg for fun things to do in Nashville. You can check out the map above or the Nashville Notes Pinterest Board for even more ideas. There are also some great tips from my fellow Bibrave Pros Ken and Amy! I can’t wait to see it all for myself!

Have you ever visited Nashville? Any suggestions that I missed that you’d like to share?
