I hope you’re doing well! It’s hard to believe that the end of summer is almost here, though I am not complaining one bit! I’m really looking forward to September and all things fall!
As it is the last Friday of the month, I’m joining Marcia for Runfessions! It’s been a while since I’ve joined in, but I think it’s a good time to get a few things off my chest, lol! Join in the linkup, it’s always a fun time!
Time for some #runfessions with @teamarcia! What running confessions are on your mind?? Click To TweetI haven’t run since before my 2-week vacation in Europe, which I just returned from last Saturday. I have to runfess that I’m a little sad that I didn’t run a single mile while in Germany or Spain, but believe me when I say that we were VERY active, walking and/or hiking over 10 miles a day just about every day! I had hoped to get more running and working out in once we returned from the trip, but we’ve just been so busy in the evenings. So I have definitely been feeling sluggish lately…but I do have a couple runs planned before the month is through!
I’m currently approaching 22 weeks of pregnancy! It’s very exciting, and overall, I’ve been feeling really good. But I have to runfess that I’m nervous about how I’ll feel about running in the next couple of months. I want to continue to run as far along in my pregnancy as possible, but I’m dreading getting to the point where it’s just too hard. I know, I know, it’s silly to put this kind of pressure on myself. I am extremely grateful to be as healthy as I am. But running is such a great outlet for me, and I’m a little scared about what will happen when I don’t have that as an option, even temporarily. I’m usually pretty miserable when I’ve been injured. so I could see it being a struggle for me to not be able to get out there. I will definitely do what I can to stay fit, but there’s just nothing like running! I’m open to any suggestions!
I runfess that I’m thinking about doing the Rothman 8K instead. It’s usually about $30 to sign up so it’s cheap, and since Bret is still running the half marathon, at least it’d give me something to do instead of just waiting for his speedy return lol. It’s always a really fun weekend, and I really enjoyed running it for the first time a couple of years ago. Maybe it’s a crazy idea, but I think I’ll keep it in the back of my mind…what would you do?
Well, it looks like I only had a few things to get off my chest this month. What runfessions do you have to share?
