Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the “new normal” that we face since COVID-19 changed all of our lives. As a runner, it was tough to see so many races being either postponed, re-tooled, or cancelled.

Thankfully, virtual races have been the real MVP. They are a great way to maintain your running fitness while being socially distant, stay motivated to train by giving you something to look forward to, and of course earn cool swag! I’m happy that I was able to participate in the America Runs Virtual 10K and I’m sharing my recap of the experience!

The coronavirus pandemic of 2020 has been shocking, saddening, and unfathomable. In the early days, so many people thought we’d be back to normal by the end of the year. Now we know that we’re living in a new normal that affects each and every one…

One of those new norms is wearing a mask when out and about. To me, it seems that social distancing and masks are here to stay. Since that’s the case, wearing a mask that is breathable and comfortable is so important! That’s why I was glad for the opportunity to test out the Body Helix Ultra Light Face Mask, and I’m sharing my review with you!
