The coronavirus pandemic of 2020 has been shocking, saddening, and unfathomable. In the early days, so many people thought we’d be back to normal by the end of the year. Now we know that we’re living in a new normal that affects each and every one…

One of those new norms is wearing a mask when out and about. To me, it seems that social distancing and masks are here to stay. Since that’s the case, wearing a mask that is breathable and comfortable is so important! That’s why I was glad for the opportunity to test out the Body Helix Ultra Light Face Mask, and I’m sharing my review with you!

I’m linking up with Tuesday Topics with Zenaida and Kim and Runners’ Roundup with Coach Debbie RunsConfessions of a Mother RunnerLaura Norris RunningMile by Mile, and Runs with Pugs!

Summer Style: Knockaround Premiums Sport Sunglasses

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | review

Disclaimer: I received a pair of Knockaround Premiums Sport Sunglasses to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out to review, find, and write race reviews!

Long time no talk! It has been so long since I’ve been able to post, but believe me when I say that it has been a crazy few couple of months. On top of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and racial unrest due to the senseless murder of George Floyd and countless other Black lives by police, a summer storm caused a neighbor’s tree to hit our house and damage our roof and siding. Thankfully no one was hurt but we had several days without power and had to make arrangements to still be able to “work from home” while taking care of our (then) 5-month-old daughter. Thankfully my MIL and sister came to our rescue, we’re lucky! We’re still dealing with our home insurance though…it’s just been stressful over here!

But on a much brighter note, I’ve been continuing to stay active. I’m not running as frequently this summer since I’m focusing more on strength training, but when I do run outside in the (lovely) heat or go for a walk, I’ve been wearing my new Knockaround sunglasses. Let me tell you, I’ve been a skeptic in the past, but I am a huge fan! I’m happy to share my review of these shades that are good for working out and hanging out!

While this summer has been anything but typical, I'm making the most of it and along the way wearing Knockaround Premiums Sport sunglasses! Check out my review at!

Weekly Rundown: Crazy Times

By Janelle @ Run With No Regrets | fitness

I hope you are doing well and staying healthy. If you’ve followed the news, you know that things have been absolutely insane as another unarmed black man, George Floyd, was mercilessly killed by a white police officer. As a result, there have been protests all over the country and even around the globe. Philadelphia has been particularly riled up; while there have been peaceful protests, several areas of the city have been set aflame and businesses destroyed. We’ve been having curfews over the weekend on top of the stay at home order for COVID-19. How do you cope with so much unrest in this country? Working out helps, but only so much…

It’s time for another Weekly Run Down with Kim and Deborah! I’m also linking with Zenaida and Kim for Tuesday Topics and  Coach Debbie RunsRunning on HappyConfessions of a Mother RunnerMile by MileRuns with Pugs, and Fauxrunner for the Runners’ Roundup!
