Newsletter Debut and a Survey for You!

Hey!  It’s Monday, also known as Martin Luther King Day.  It is a day off of work for me, but also a day of service.  Today I’ll be doing some volunteer work at a local community center in North Philly.  Every year I enjoy doing a Day of Service activity with coworkers and friends, and today is no exception!  Hopefully some of you are also participating in the National Day of Service!

Preparing for 2015 Races

Hey there! It has been a busy week so far and it’s only Tuesday! Lately I’ve been trying to do a lot of strategizing for the blog and getting some ideas together, which somehow means that I’m writing less.

I’m planning on creating a survey to get ideas on what you, my readers, are most interested in learning about, and creating content that is better catered to you! I’ll let you know when it’s ready–I’d appreciate any feedback!

In any event, I’m still here! And I’m linking up with Tuesdays on the Run, hosted by April at Run the Great Wide Somewhere, Erica from MCM Mama Runs, and Patty from My No-Guilt Life! The Tuesdays on the Run series gets a lot of cool running bloggers together and we share our posts with the topic of the week. This week, we’re talking about our 2015 races!

2015 Race Training Begins:

Last month, I shared my race schedule for 2015.  One of my goals for the year is to HAVE FUN and not worry about finishing times, and I strategically picked a lot of races that I’ve never run before so that I won’t have any comparisons in the back of my head.  Now that 2015 is actually here, it’s time to get things going!  Here are the first few races I’m preparing for this year.

My New Year’s Resolutions for 2015

Happy New Year!!!  We made it to 2015, and I am so happy!  I hope you had a lovely time watching the ball drop wherever you were!  It is definitely a time for reflection and appreciation for all the good things you have in your life.

My 2015 Goals

New Year’s Resolutions:  Setting Goals

I’ve mentioned this several times, but I am huge on setting goals.  The only way that I get anything done is to write it down, make a plan, and execute.  This not only works in setting goals in regular life, but for fitness-related goals too!  Check out my guest post on City Fit Girls’ blog on Setting Realistic Fitness Goals for 2015!

It’s crazy to look back at what I wanted to accomplish in 2014 and see how I did.  Some of my goals were spot on, and others weren’t even close! (150 blog posts in 2014?  That definitely didn’t happen!).  So below are my GOALS for 2015, covering all different areas of my life.  I’m also linking up for Friday Five with Eat Pray Run DC, You Signed Up For What, and Mar on the Run!

City Fit Girls SHIFT: Week 1 Workouts

Happy Tuesday!  If you’ve visited Run With No Regrets regularly, you may notice that things look a little bit different around here.  That’s because I am FINALLY self-hosted on WordPress!   Blogger was definitely good to me, and was a great place to start my blog, but I really wanted to take things to the next level and have more control over my site.  So here I am, and here it is!

I have to give a HUGE thank you to Amanda at The Suitcase Designs who transferred me to WordPress and got me on the Genesis theme.  She’s so helpful and provides a great, affordable service!  She was also able to install my theme from Natasha at My Cute Lobster Designs.

Let me know what you think of the new site!  I want to make it the most useful for YOU, so if you think the placement of certain links is a bit off or if the colors make your eyes cry, please let me know!  I’ll definitely be playing around with it over the next few weeks!
