I hope your August is off to a great start! New month, new goals, right? It’s always a great time to reflect, evaluate, and reset if needed!
I can’t believe that March was the last time that I shared my monthly fitness goals – this is one of my favorite posts because it really gives me motivation at the start of a new month. So without further ado, I’m going to share my goals!
Temperatures are dropping and winter is coming and for many runners, this is the most miserable time of the year to train for a race or run for fun. While running on the treadmill is a great backup when it’s too treacherous to hit the trails, there’s nothing like running out in nature!
While it’s easy to just grab shorts and a tank top in warmer weather, figuring out the best accessories to wear in the cold can be really tricky. You don’t want anything too heavy that will cause you to overheat, but you don’t want it to be so thin that you can feel the worst of the cold. That’s why I was excited for the opportunity to test out the new BUFF® DryFlx neck warmer and headband. I’m excited to share my review – you just might want to add this to your running gear collection and have a little more motivation to run out in the cold!
The year 2018 is almost over! It’s hard to believe that we’re finally into December…believe me when I say that I’m absolutely relieved that this year is coming to an end!
At any rate, the start of the month is a great time to reflect on the previous month and the goals you plan to accomplish in the current month. I’ve been doing these monthly recap posts for a while and they are one of my favorites. It is a huge help with accountability! How did you do in November?
When you’re a long-time runner or fitness enthusiast, you think you have all of the gear that you need, or at least you know everything that’s out there. I have to say I was really put by surprise when I saw the Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap – a product that helps you change your workout clothes with dignity AND keeps your car de-funked! Let me tell you more as I was able to test out this magical towel!
