New Year’s Resolutions for 2021

Hello, 2021! I think we all did a collective cheer when the clock struck midnight and we finally put 2020 behind us.

Once again, I’m sharing my goals for the new year. I know that people don’t like resolutions but I always look forward to a blank slate and an opportunity to reset for the next 365 days!

5 Gift Ideas to Keep You Fit in Quarantine

I hope you’re doing well and in good health! The COVID-19 pandemic has been devastating across the globe and until vaccines are universally available, it looks like we won’t be going back to our normal lives any time soon.

Still, we do our best to move forward, and many of us have found that keeping physically active has been a great stress reliever.

Sadly, in Philadelphia, indoor gyms have been closed again and we’re all bracing for the next big wave of COVID-19 outbreaks. So how we can still keep fit while being stuck back at home?

I thought it would be helpful to share a few fitness products worth buying and using while we’re in quarantine. Whether you want to get this for yourself or for friends/family, I hope that the recipient uses the gift as motivation to keep active during these challenging times.

5 Things I Learned From My Empty Calorie Challenge

Have you ever tried to lose a few pounds during the summer?  It’s tough!

For 4 weeks between July and August, I participated in an Empty Calorie Challenge as recommended by my dietitian.  Because I gained a few pounds between my visits in May and July , I and wanted to take action and reign in some of my poor dietary habits.  I’ve shared my experience on the blog in my weekly wrap’s, and now that I’ve completed the challenge, I’m sharing 5 things that I learned during the process!
